Leanne Merrett joined Westbury Collections in May 2023 as the company’s Business Development Manager for Independent Schools and has played a key role in the continued growth of the business within the private and independent school sector.

Focusing exclusively on independent schools, Leanne is responsible for introducing new schools to the business whilst also building and maintaining strong relationships with existing contacts across the UK. She regularly holds Microsoft Teams meetings and demonstrations with bursars, finance teams and senior leadership staff, helping schools better understand how Westbury Collections can assist with fee recovery, cashflow and overdue accounts.

Leanne also represents the company at the Independent Schools' Bursars Association conferences held twice each year, where she enjoys meeting both existing and prospective schools and continuing to strengthen the company’s presence within the sector.

Known for her driven and personable nature, Leanne brings plenty of energy to the office and you would not need to be too far away to hear her unmistakable cackle. She remains just as motivated and enthusiastic about working with new schools today as she was on her very first day with the company.
