Adjudication

At Westbury, adjudication action can provide a fast and effective method of resolving payment disputes, particularly within the construction industry where unpaid invoices, contract disputes and delayed payments can have a serious impact on cash flow.

Where a debt is disputed, our experienced team can review the circumstances of the matter and advise whether adjudication may be an appropriate course of action before progressing to litigation or enforcement proceedings.

Adjudication is intended to deliver a legally recognised decision within a relatively short timeframe (usually 28-35 days), helping parties reach a resolution more quickly than through traditional court proceedings. This can often assist in recovering outstanding payments without the delays and costs commonly associated with litigation.

Our aim is always to achieve a commercially practical resolution as quickly and cost-effectively as possible while keeping you fully informed throughout the process.
