Anthony Browne
Anthony Browne founded Westbury Collections in 2020 with a clear vision: to create a debt recovery agency that focused not just on collecting money, but on building long-term relationships and helping businesses improve cashflow sustainably.
With more than 20 years of experience within the debt recovery industry, Anthony recognised a gap in the market for a more personable, transparent and commercially focused approach to collections. Starting the business from his spare bedroom with nothing more than a laptop and a £9.99 telephone, he built Westbury Collections from the ground up without any outside investment.
Under Anthony’s leadership, the business has grown into a nationwide debt recovery agency supporting businesses and organisation's across the UK over a number of sectors, including construction and independent schools. His hands-on approach and strong industry knowledge have helped establish Westbury Collections as a trusted partner for over 300 independent schools and countless businesses nationwide.
Anthony remains heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the business and is passionate about delivering a service that combines professionalism with a personal touch. He has personally visited more than 250 independent schools across the UK, building strong relationships and gaining first-hand insight into the challenges finance teams face when managing overdue accounts and protecting cashflow.
Outside of the business, Anthony is also Chairman of non-league football club Worcester Park FC who in the 2025/2026 won both the league title and county cup, narrowly missing out on penalties for the treble.
