Enforcement Restrictions Lifted on 31st May 2021
The Ministry of Justice has now lifted restrictions on entering properties to recover goods and enforce evictions as of 31st May 2021.
Although Sheriff Officers and County Court Bailiffs continued with collection efforts during the pandemic, being able to fully enforce a writ has been challenging. However for most clients we have still seen a good success rate on debts being paid using this enforcement method. As restrictions continue to lift, we will no doubt see an increase in debts being referred to us being paid and having the Sheriffs on hand to execute a writ will assist in recovering your debts.
